How the Decorating Club Works
The
purpose behind the Decorating Club is to provide an opportunity for each
participant to give of themselves while exploring their own gifts and
talent. With each project, we continue
to cultivate new friendships and gain greater insight into one another’s lives.
But be
advised, the Decorating Club is not a service for those seeking free labor –
rather it is all about neighbors helping neighbors,
each sharing their own unique story and talents.
Since
decorating is a very personal activity, we approach each project as if it were
an autobiography. We invest the time to
learn about each of the characters in the story and work with the author to
develop an outline.
As
seen from our motto “turning houses into homes – one room at a time” it is not
our intention to replicate the same themes or designs from house to house.
